Howdy all,
The campout is nearly upon us. We will be loading the vehicles at 4:30, so try to be at the church between 4:00 and 4:30. We will be pulling out at 4:45 sharp. For all, remember we will have cool evenings and pleasant, but not hot, days, so bring appropriate clothing.
Reminder to the Junior unit - bring a sack dinner, but no other food allowed (we cannot have food in the tents at base camp). Also, don’t forget your height, height to eyes and pace length.
For Senior unit, you may want to review the Orienteering honor requirements and Kjetil Kjernsmo's illustrated guide on How to use a compass. In addition, you can review a USGS topo map of Hammetts Crossing, which includes Pedernales Falls State Park.
