Sunday, March 4, found a dedicated group of South Austin Inner Lights Pathfinders headed to Elgin, TX to help an elderly couple who needed some yard work done. The pile of wood from a dead tree and the enormous amount of pine needles needing to be moved seemed almost impossible, but these young people went right to work. One section of the tree was so large that it took 4 people to load it on the trailer. In a very short time, the trailer was loaded, and there were 40 bags of pine needles ready to be hauled off. Pathfinders then found a wheelbarrow and garden wagon and had a race to see who could finish mulching their half of the pecan trees and fruit trees. The homeowners were very grateful for all of the hard work done by our Pathfinders.
